Interview 8 + a Quick 9

Interview #8  s.u.c.k.e.d. The guy totally brushed me off. Gave me a whopping 10 minutes. Wow.

At this rate I'll be employed by 2010. I'm more annoyed than upset. I got up early and slicked my hair back (no easy task in either department). Although this company on the mainland with no bridges to cross - its an even longer drive than to the place in Bitchmond. Plus the route is a very busy highway for large semi trucks. Its almost a relief that the guy brushed me off because I was already telling myself its a 'no go' after the knuckle biting commute.

Out of the blue, I checked my email before heading off this morning and there was a note from a place I sent my resume to just yesterday. I like quick responses. So I ended u having a unexpected interview this afternoon. Keep you fingers crossed because I liked this one.

#9 -- Its for Sealy- M company. The shift is 6am-3pm !! Normally, when not being a lazy bum, I like to work 7-330 or 730-4. The lady who interviewed me was so laid back. The job is a complete 360 from my normal work.

I have been disappointed with all the bullshit and drama a my last job that a no minder routine is welcome. Plus you can wear whatever you please. I'd have my own office and work in the warehouse. Its a step down in pay but it's 9 km from my home (15 minute drive) She is interviewing rest of today and will let me know one way or the other by noon tomorrow.

I sent her a 'thank you for the interview' note reiterating my interest. Other than throw myself at her feet and beg for mercy- there's nothing else I can do but hope.
