The days have been balmy so I have been walking at lunch. The building across the alley has had some sort of construction going on and there seems to be a lot of debris, nails, wires and junk on the road.
As I walk past, I have been kicking some of the hazards to the curb. Over the past few weeks the debris I kick seems to be getting closer and closer to where "someone" parks.
Yesterday I was so pissed when I went for my stroll, that I gave some of the nuts and bolts a serious Olympic worthy kick.....and well....stuff rolled percariously close to a car.....Actually it rolled underneath the right wheel (closer to the engine side than the outside) But still underneath the tire.
So what does someone do in a situation like this? Its not like I can crawl underneath and retrieve the debris because the moron who drives this car parks too close to the wall. I don't have extendable arms to reach 3/4 underneath and snag those rusty assed bolts. Not likely I'm gonna speak up. How would I explain it? Do I just hope for the best? Hope when he backs up the tire misses the bolt??
Talk about a one in a million freaky lucky kick.
