I was all jazzed for this interview. I went out of my way to be both prepared and prompt. And what happens? Its a total and complete waste of time!!!! You're probably wondering why... 'was the wage too low?' or perhaps 'the role to junior?' Nope....More along the lines of I wait, and I wait and I wait.
5, 10, 15, 20 and finally 30 fucking minutes !!!! Smoke is coming out of my ears! As I returned the visitor badge to the receptionist I said "I can appreciate Ms. Yu is busy but so am I". And I left. Tossing the job description in their parking lot as I headed to my car. Hows that for balls?
Why set a time for an interview if you're not going to show up? Or here's a weird thought- why don't you tell the receptionist to tell me you're running late! Regardless of why I'm at the company, my presence should be of some value. I'll bet that 'ho wouldn't treat a "customer" that way.
I may need a job but I don't need bottom of the barrel crap. And I'm sure the idiot thinks I'm the unprofessional one. Da 'ho hasn't even phoned, or emailed to apologize. But that's OK because I sent a scathing email to her boss. Pointing out that customer service includes treating internal and external people with respect. I'm tired of being dumped on by loser managers who think they can be rude and abusive.
