After suffering all last week, I finally made an appointment to get my bangs trimmed up. Got a spot for Tuesday after work.
Tuesday morning the salon calls to tell me that my stylist, Pam, tripped and hurt her back thereby cancelling my appointment. The person on the phone said she was going to talk to Pam later that day and would let me know when I could re-book.
I waited all daty uesday. I waited till noon Wednesday. I called the salon but the machine picked up. Having been there I know that at times there are only 2 stylists working, so with Pam away I imagined the remaining one to be worked off her feet.
I called again late Wednesday afternoon and left a message. Still no call back. Knowing the salon is open later on Wednesday eve I decided to walk up there and get to the bottom of this. Is it really so hard to return a customer's call??
I walk over there expecting, bracing, to see a line up out the door……but no…… its EMPTY! In fact the stupid skank stylist is actually applying her makeup in front of the mirror when I walked in. All those calls and she couldn’t even pick up the phone.
FUCK was I mad!! I said “What’s going on with Pam? No one has bothered to call me back “ (insert evil glare). Stupid skank does a half assed song and dance and I get a re-book for Friday.
Let me just point out that trimming bangs takes no more than 10 minutes. Furthermore, the salon was empty (with skank obviously having nothing to do) so I puzzle as to why aforementioned skank couldn’t trim my bangs then & there so I wouldn’t be inconvenienced any further.
Later that day:
Headline from Urban Sprawl Newspaper
Police investigate strange crime. A local hairdresser is found with scissors sticking out of her left eye and makeup sprinkled over her body….there seem to be few leads except for a mysterious note hacked into her bangs…..
