Rx

One of my meds is getting a bit low so I called in the Rx and went to pick it up yesterday. I wait and wait while the clerk shuffles thru all the perscriptions. When she finds mine it has this huge red note on it (yikes!!) They couldn't fill it because the drug manufacturer is not making anymore of these drugs until July (OMG!!!) How is that even possible???? Do they not understand what withdrawal is???

The pharmacy didn't have enuf stock or any generic stock to give me. ACK! The clerk tells me the best I can do is call other pharmacies and if I find some pills I can get the Rx transferred. Unbelievable. Talk about a nightmare. So there I am sitting on the couch doing the faster finger walking thru the yellow pages that's possible. And yes- Bingo! - 3rd call wins the prize. M/Town.  Whew. I could almost feel the shakes coming on. After dinner I take a short drive to M/Town to pick up the Rx. Like a fool I park at the mall and the next thing I know............but that's a whole other entry ;)
