OK this is kinda embarrassing. I complete my time sheet for the week. The usual 35 hours. I have the supervisor sign it, I fax it, and then return the original to her for filing. Sounds simple enought, right? Well if it were my story would end right here.
About 20 minutes later she comes to me and asks if I'm working all day. Uh...ya.... that's why its marked 7 hours. Then she says "the office is closing today at 1pm" Seems the pansies have to close the office early so they can all rush home and get gussied up for their Christmas Party. Can you believe that?? JFC!! Do these people ever work? I can see closing at 330 instead of 4, but 1pm?! OMG- and further OMG- thanks soooo much for telling me. I'd have gone for lunch and come back to find the freaking office empty. All the while wondering WTF? Where is everyone
Sorry- my thoughts took a secondary route. Anyway- I had to 'revise' my time sheet and re-fax it with an explanation. I'd be pissed off but I'm happy to leave at 1pm. Plus its Chiro day (and had I known, had someone had the decency to tell me beforehand I would have made the appt much earlier in the day) Fuckers!
