2011 - Interviews 2 +3 - Boys Club

Remember the dank warehouse? Turns out I had the address wrong (oops) I met with two guys. One the CFO the other my direct supervisor. The CFO was great. I related well to him. The guy who would be my supervisor- OMG- what a loser. He didn't make eye contact, in fact he spent 95% of the interview staring out the window at the view. He played with his pen, he didn't answer my questions. I felt like slapping him. How rude! How am I supposed to go to this moron guy with work problems? I found myself disliking him and his rudeness. The other concern is they pay their bills at a wonderful white knuckle 75+ days. Insert stress alert here. How can they call it "payables"? Shouldn't it be "stall-ables"? Im thinking this one isnt a good choice for me.

When I was leaving I spoke to my rep (Brett). He asked what I was doing the rest of the day and I mentioned I was on my way to a 2nd interview @ G Boy.  Brett warned me that GB has a revolving door rep. Oh great- just what you want to hear before you drive across town to an interview.

I met with a guy named Mark- would be boss. He is indeed the nicest guy. Laid back, funny. I brought up my concerns. Said that in my quest to gather information about the company, I noticed a fair amount of employment activity (mostly OUT the door and not in) and asked him full out if there is a problem. He said yes. He said managment is aware of it and trying to make some changes. My one other concern would be the workload. There are 2 AP positions (one the vacancy). He is going to let the other AP person make the decision about how to split the work. I don't want to be stuck doing nothing but data entry. But we'll see. I could bring that up if he should call me back. Who knows- maybe he will maybe he wont.
(update- he never did call back)

I'm not really liking either of these places :(
